Description: Friendship Tutoring is a free tutoring/mentoring program for disadvantaged elementary school children from K-6th grade. Students are paired one-on-one with a mentor/tutor from PSU's College of Education. Reading, Math, Geography & Writing skills are taught. Students also have access to a computer lab and can bring homework to complete from school. A healthy snack is prepared for the children each Sunday when they arrive. Students and tutors also enjoy educational games and many forms close friendships.
