Penn State Cooperative Extension is an educational network that gives people in each of Pennsylvania's 67 counties access to Penn State's resources and expertise. It is funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and state and county governments. Through this county-based partnership, Penn State extension agents, faculty, and local volunteers work together to share unbiased, research-based information with local residents. The main service of the Retired & Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is to assist volunteers in finding a good volunteer experience in a non-profit agency. Schlow Centre Region Library

Schlow Library provides free library service to all Centre Region residents, including University students. Schlow Library cards may be used at all the public libraries in Centre County, and Schlow Library honors Centre County Library cards.
